Panj Takht from Delhi

The meaning of the word ‘Takht’ is a four-legged wooden seat or imperial throne. Panj Takhts (throne) are Authorities of Sikhism which gives support to Sikh culture and to it community. All important decisions concerning religious and social life of the Sikh are taken from Takhs and which are called Hukamnamas (commandment) and are revered by Gursikhs. Five Takhs, which play Major role and are considered the seats of Sikh authority.

Day1: Delhi [by Air]: Delhi arrival, Meet & Arrival assistance at the Airport and transfer to hotel for wash and change, after breakfast drive towards airport for flight to Patna. On arrival in Patna assistance at Airport and transfer to hotel, Visit Gurudwara Shri Patna Sahib the birth place of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, The Gurudwara has a small museum in its premises which houses some relics belonging to the Sikh Gurus. O/N at Patna.

Day2: Patna Sahib [by Surface]: The day is at Patna Sahib, also visit the nearby Gurudwaras of Maini Sangat, Gurdwara Sunar Toli, Gurudwara Guru Ka Bagh,and Gurudwara Ghai Ghat. Night Stay at Hotel in Patna.

Day3: Patna –Mumbai- Nanded [by Air]: Breakfast and Transfer to airport for flight to Nanded Via Mumbai. On arrival at airport, assistance and transfer to hotel. 1st Takhat of Shri Hazoor Sahib the place from where the tenth Guru rose to heaven along with his horse . Spend the entire day listening to the Kirtan at the Gurudwara,. Also visit the Close by Gurudwaras of Shri Banda Ghat, Gurudwara Shikar Ghat, Shri Nagina Ghat Sahib, Sri Heera Ghat and O/N at Hotel

Day4: Shri Hazoor Sahib – Nanak Jhira – Shri Hazoor Sahib [by Surface] (96 kms per way): This morning drive to Bidar for the Gurudwara of Nanak Jhira. Overnight at Hotel.

Day5: Nanded – Delhi [by Air]: 0850hrs -1240hrs  Transfer to airport  for flight to Delhi via Mumbai. On arrival at Delhi airport transfer to hotel and check in after rest visit to Bangala Sahib Gurudwara. Later shopping and at return back to hotel overnight.

Day6: Delhi –  [by surface]: After breakfast proceed for Seeking the Blessings at the Gurudwara of Shri Bangla Sahib and Sis Ganj, Damdma Sahib, Mata Sundri Gurudwara, Nanak Piao  Enjoy Lunch and shoping at the famous Bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Overnight in Delhi.

Day7: Delhi – Chandigarh [by Train]: 0740hrs Lv Delhi -1140hrs Chandigrah breakfast, drive towards the Delhi station for Stb express to Chandigrah. Overnight Chandigarh.

Day8: Chandigarh – Anandpur Sahib – Ludhiana [by surface]: Today morning drive to Anandpur Sahib for the Gurudwara of Sri Keshgarh Sahib birth place of the Khalsa. O/N at Ludhiana

Day9: Ludhiana – Damdama Sahib [by surface]: Drive to Bathinda for the Gurudwara of Damadama Sahib also known as Guru -Ki- Kashi Talwandi Sabo. O/N at Ludhiana

Day10: Ludhiana – Amritsar [by surface]: (165 Kms / 3.5 hrs): Transfer to Amritsar the home of the world famous monument (The Golden Temple. O/N at Amritsar

Day11:Amritsar [by surface]: Take a dip at the holy water of the sacred place. Breakfast and city tour of Amritsar, visit Jalianwala Bagh. Later witness the closing ceremony at the Wagah Border. O/N at Amritsar

Day 12:Amritsar – Delhi[by train]:After breakfast free at leisure and till evening train for Delhi.

On arrival transfer to airport for flight to back home
